- The Movement
Swiss Military-Hanowa only uses Swiss made quartz movements from the best Swiss movement manufacturers, from the leading producers ISA and RONDA. The mechanical watches are fitted with ETA, TechnoSablier or Claro movements.

- The case
The cases are all very robust and made from stainless steel (with very few exceptions). The gilt and black parts are based on a physical vapour deposition (PVD) technology. Most of the cases are fitted with a screw back assuring perfect waterresistency and all mechanical watches are featuring a see through case back.

- The Dial
The dials feature safe Superluminova numbers or dots and so can be read easily in the dark.

- The Bracelet
The steel bracelets are fitted with security clasps and are easily shortable. All the bracelets are made from stainless steel.

- The Leather Straps
The leather straps are made from refined, high quality leather, carefully crafted and specially treated for water impermeability.
However, Swiss Military - Hanowa recommends you: do not bathe or take shower with a watch featuring a leather strap

- The Crown
Some of our watches have screwed crowns, for even better waterprotection. If you are wearing one of these watches make sure that the crown is screwed back properly after setting the time or the date.
